OVERVIEW
Operating out of the United Kingdom, Funded Trading Plus has two years of experience in the prop trading sector, and is led by CEO Simon Massey. With both MT4 and MT5 available, Funded Trading Plus offers its traders industry-standard platforms known for a wide array of trading tools. They have a partnership with EightCap and provide a diverse range of account sizes from $5,000 to $200,000. With options for Instant, 1-step, and 2-step evaluations, the firm offers options for different trader preferences. The 1-step evaluation sets a profit target of 10%, the 2-step evaluation delineates a progression with 8% in Phase 1 followed by 5% in Phase 2. The maximum total drawdown ranges between 6% and 10%, depending on the chosen challenge. The leverage accommodates varied risk preferences with 1:30 for Forex pairs and commodities, 1:20 for indices, and a 1:2 for cryptocurrency trading. For Forex, the firm offers pairs like EURUSD and EURZAR, Indices include the SPX500 and VIX. Precious metals traders have access to Gold, Silver, and Platinum. Additionally, Cryptocurrency features popular digital currencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Funded Trading Plus offers a scaling program, involving an expansion to $2,500,000 with the flexibility to withdraw profits during the scaling process. Contrary to an automatic scale-up process, Funded Trading Plus requires traders to initiate the scaling procedure by raising a support ticket. The scaling option becomes available when a trader’s account has achieved a minimum level of profit. The minimum profit threshold for the Experienced Trader and Master Trader Programs is 10%, while the Advanced Trader Program requires a minimum profit level of 20%. Traders are advised to allow up to 72 hours for the scaling process to be completed. Additionally, traders must ensure their accounts are flat with no running trades before initiating the scaling process. For instance, a trader begins with a $100,000 Experienced Trader Program account, achieves an 8% profit, withdraws $3,000, and continues trading. Subsequently, they earn an additional $8,000, leading them to decide to scale up to a $200,000 account. After the scale-up, they withdraw $5,000, demonstrating an ideal approach to managing their account by withdrawing profits along the way while scaling up.
